thank god all i have left is two presentations. One on the history of death metal and the other is a metal instrumental. i should kick ass at both of those

finally

finally we are in the final weeks of school and i couldn't be more excited to be done with this shit and make some money and play some shows during the summer.

Graduation

Well i finally registered for my classes and am now about a year and a half away from graduation. I now graduate in the fall of 08, which is only 5 years in college, thank god i am almost out of this hellhole. Then i'll be in the real world (god help me) doing whatever it is i am supposed to do with a sociology degree.

update

well spring break was ok, didn't really get drunk that much. My internet has been down due to AT&T being complete dumbasses. The show that my band was supposed to play on friday, we had to cancel due to car problems. Not too happy. But hopefully everything should be good for the next show which is hopefully soon.

New singer

well my band, BACK AND TO THE LEFT has finally found a singer! We now have all that we need to start playing shows, so if anyone wants to come to one just ask me and i'll let you know.

St. patty's day

Here's how my schedule for st. patty's day went:

9:00 A.M: Wake up
10:00 : go to the gym
11:00 -2:00 Drink
4:00- 6:00 Drink some more
9:00- 12:00 Drink ALOT
1:00 Pass out

St. Patty's day

well folks as we all know st patty's day is this weekend. Seeing how i'm damn near full blooded irish, i'm gonna celebrate by getting up at 5:00, going to O'Conners pub and getting a pint of guiness to start off my day, i probably won't remember much of that day because i will be blitzed. But it should be a fun st. patty's day

Things i've done

at the young age of 22 i've done alot of interesting things in my life:

went to europe at the age of 14
opened for heavy metal bands, Chimaira, Otep, Six Feet Under, All That Remains
Got signed to a record label when i was 21
Recorded my first Metal Demo at 21
Was part of 4 different bands (eutopic, Mantic, Cyridian and Back and To The Left)
Experience my first ever crowd mosh pit
Filmed a music video when i was 22

Snow

sometimes i hate wisconsin, why the hell are we getting snow in almost march? i want warm weather to be here so i can stop freezing my ass off everyday. Hopefully we'll be out of this crappy weather soon. In other news i have joined a new band, their called Back and to the Left it's kind of like Norma Jean/Poison the Well/Amora Savant type stuff. it kicks ass, the other guys come from Via Dolorosa. We already have some bands to play with, the guitarists in my old band formed Chrodh Mara which is like a death/thrash group. so this should be fun.

The end

well after 2 years, numerous shows, a demo,name changes, member changes, opening for a bunch of headlinging bands and a bunch of fucking late nights and laughs it's time for me to say goodbye to the band that has meant alot to me. My band cyridian has officially broken up due to people moving on or people not being serious enough to play anymore. i want to thank the guys Will, Paul, Mike and Rob and Joe (i know you left a year ago but you still were there we started EGO TRIP) for being some of the most awesome friends that i've had for these last 2 years. I wish them all luck in their musical endeavors. As for me i've got a couple of auditions coming up and i'm pretty excited to start the music thing all over again.

need a drummer and singer

well my band had to kick out drummer, we weren't able to have practice at his house until his mom said he got a job. Well, he never got a job he sat around for 2 months and never got one. So the guitarists and i decided that we didn't want to be in a band with him anymore. Not only that, our singer left to go live in madison for good. so now we need a drummer and a singer.

New Band

while i was on amazon.com ordering my last text book for my tech tools class, i started looking up cd's that i would like to have but don't own. I came across a band called Sybreed. They mix metal, industrial and death metal together like bands such as meshuggah, Mnemic and fear factory. So the cd was only 3.99, i bought it. Mp3 player

after being in cancun with my girlfriend and her aciddentaly breaking my 20 Gb mp3 player i now have a new one, a creative 60 Gb mp3 player. this kicks ass because i can finally put all the metal and death metal that i have in my cd's on this thing. nowi don't have to carry my cd's with me any more and i don't have to worry about my cd's getting stolen from me. pretty much 99% of my music is death/thrash/gindcore/goregrind music.
